We present imaging and photometric studies of the radio galaxy NGC 1316 (Fornax~A) using high spatial resolution near-ultraviolet (NUV) far-ultraviolet (FUV) telescopes first Indian multi-wavelength space observatory {\it AstroSat}. The residual maps UV emission obtained from subtraction smooth models witness peculiar features within central few kpc (1-2 kpc) region. correspondence between FUV study reveal that emitting sources are displaced away centre by AGN outburst (radio jet). presence rims clumpy structures in outskirt this delineate has acquired a large fraction gas through merger-like events is still process settling. estimates star formation rates (SFR) NUV luminosities found to be 0.15 M$_\odot$yr$^{-1}$ 0.36 M$_\odot$yr$^{-1}$, respectively, provide lower limit due screen effect. estimated SFR probably represent its quenching driven outflows emanating engine 1316.
